Of Mice and Men

Steinbeck (John).    Covici Friede, New York,  1937 First Edition, First Issue     Two small marks to lower cover and one or two to fore-edge, otherwise a very nice copy indeed in dust-wrapper which is a little sunned at the spine, has one short tear without loss and a few nicks, neatly trimmed at corners of inner panels but not price-clipped, a very desirable copy  With all the first issue points: “and only moved because the heavy hands were pendula” on page 9, the bullet between the two 8s on the page 88 and “$2.00” on dust-wrapper.
