Presentation Copy, inscribed by the author on the front free end-paper in the year of publication “For Eric All these little sheep you’ve been counting so long - finally in one pen. with love from Ted 10th Nov. 1979”  The inscription is to the author’s close friend Eric Walter White, the poet, editor, translator and composer.
