Presentation Copy, inscribed by the author in the year of publication: “To Dodo & Eric with lots of love from Ted and Carol 17th August 1975”  The inscription is to the author’s close friend Eric Walter White, the poet, editor, translator and composer, and his wife Dorothy. This sumptuous production comprises ten poems each with a facsimile of the author’s manuscript or typescript tipped-in on the facing page, loose as issued in original paper-covered boards folder with printed label, folio, this laid into a well in a larger burlap covered folding box (with printed label and ties) which also contains, loose as issued, the ten drawings on larger paper and the main title-page (tissue guard missing). This copy furthermore contains a Scolar Press flyer advertising the book (lightly spotted).
