Presentation Copy inscribed by the author on the front free end-paper above his ink sketch of mountains, a bird and a flower: “To Dodo and Eric with love from Ted 2nd February 1974”  The inscription is to the author’s close friend Eric Walter White, the poet, editor, translator and composer, and his wife Dorothy.
