Presentation Copy, inscribed by the author on the title-page in the year of publication and with his printed name crossed through ”Eric from Peter all best wishes Sept 1973”, Eric being Eric Walter White, the poet, editor, translator and composer  Adapted by Redgrove from his novel of the same title. Loosely inserted is an Autograph Letter Signed by the author to Eric Walter White explaining that this version “takes the story of the novel a little further...”, 1 page, 4to, Falmouth, no date. Together with a self-published advance edition of the novel, 1971, wrappers, also inscribed to Eric Walter White. Also loosely inserted are two leaflets printed in Falmouth announcing the author and his wife Penelope Shuttle’s availability for work.
