Advance Proof Copy    Wrappers Wrappers a little soiled and early leaves very slightly cockled, otherwise a nice copy. The upper wrapper bears two of the publisher’s rubber stamps, one stating “Proof Copy Only Hamish Hamilton” and the other giving the provisional publication date of 3rd September 1964. The upper wrapper also bears a neat contemporary ink notation of the provisional published price  The Nobel Laureate’s first book published in English.
