Loosely inserted are two Autograph Letters and a Christmas card, signed, from Mrs Ross to Arthur Uphill  Adelaide Ross, the daughter of Eden Phillpotts, was the wife of Nicholas Ross, an American artist and bibliophile. Arthur Uphill edited the collection of letters from J.C. Powys to Ross published by Bertram Rota Ltd. in 1971.
