La scimmia”), glassine dust-wrapper (a little chipped and torn), publisher’s bookmark loosely inserted and publisher’s label on rear pastedown Maynard and Miles D30 The text is followed by “Una cura che elimina la tossicomania” which was written by Burroughs in Cambridge in 1961 and circulated in typescript and photocopy form. “WSB gave Fernanda Pivano a copy shortly after it was written, and this Italian translation of it is the only published form of that text” (later versions appeared in Health Bulletin, The New Statesman and the English edition of The Soft Machine).
