Book of Common Prayer.   Engraved frontispiece of St. Paul’s Cathedral John Baskett,  1735    Folio Contemporary deep green goatskin, covers elaborately tooled in gilt with a wide border composed of a floral roll between a pair of fillets, raised bands; with the royal monogram of King George II tooled gilt in compartments, comprising of initials interwoven and surmounted by a crown, all edges gilt, outer edge of covers tooled gilt, marbled endpapers; title-page printed in red and black, printed in double-columns ruled red  Extremities rubbed and a little worn, spine lightly sunned, still a superb copy; armorial bookplate of Sir Henry Streatfeild of Chiddingstone, later bookplate of Rupert Gunnis; typed note loosely inserted See Griffiths, The Bibliography of the Book of Common Prayer, p.157
