Scarce H.G. Wells Society Bibliography 3 The author’s first non-scientific work and one of about 650 copies published as number III of The Mayfair Set, comprising pieces from The Pall Mall Gazette. With pages 5-6 of the advertisements excised by the publisher as usual, Edmund Gosse’s name having been printed as “Goose (Edmund)”.
