A Book of Towers & Other Buildings of Southern Europe; a series of drypoints by Richard Wyndham

Sitwell (Sacheverell).  Introduction and brief descriptions by Sitwell 24 copperplate engravings, engraved title-page and two vignettes Haslewood Books,  1928  The edition comprised 350 copies, of which this is a regular, printed on Zanders hand-made  Small folio Three-quarter forrel, spine lettered in gilt, buff boards with illustration of the tower of La Giralda, Seville on upper cover. Uncut Spine slightly darkened and some very minor insect damage to corners, but an extremely nice copy in worn and damaged publisher’s slipcase with engraved label  Richard Wyndham (1846-1948), a student of Wyndham Lewis, accompanied the Sitwells on several tours through Europe in the 1920s.
