Modern Bookbinding: New Design in an Old Craft: An International Exhibition

Bookbinding.   Bold wrapper design in red and black signed “Salter” Low Memorial Library, Columbia University, New York, April 15 to May 6,  1935 First Edition    Wrappers Wrappers somewhat dust-soiled, otherwise a nice copy. Loosely inserted is an off-print (somewhat dust-soiled and frayed at edges) of a review of the exhibition and annotated by hand: “Publishers’ Weekly, May 4, 1935”, together with an invitation to the exhibition  Unillustrated “Notes on the Exhibition” with lists of bookbinders from America, England and the Continent whose work was exhibited.
