Hommage a Rupert Brooke et a la Poesie Immortelle

Brooke (Rupert).    Athens,  June, 1931     Wrappers Wrappers with some soiling, slight crease throughout, else a nice copy of an unusual and rare memoir  A commemorative memoir of the unveiling on Skyros of the memorial statue to Rupert Brooke on 5th April, 1931. Representatives of Belgium, England, France and Greece attended the ceremony and with the exception of the addresses of Lascelles Abercrombie and two others, their tributes are published in French. Sir Geoffrey Keynes describes two different souvenir volumes printed in 1931 in Paris and Brussels. This one, printed in Athens and probably for private circulation only, seems to have escaped his notice.
