Complete original drawings in watercolour and gouache for the three children's books by David Severn, Wily Fox and the Baby Show 1947, Wily Fox and the Christmas Party and Bill Badger and the Bathing Pool, 1948, Bodley Head, and all but one for Bill Badger and the Pine Martens. Seventy delightful and charming illustrations in all, including those for the boards / dust-wrappers / title-pages (that for Bill Badger and the Bathing Pool with a brown background although red was used for the published book), all on art board, various sizes but mostly 180 by 143 mm, mostly in excellent condition. One example which contains multiple images (treated as one image in the total number) and used for the end-papers of each book has one of the badger cut away but still present and incorporating "The Bodley Head".
