Buckland (A.C.)  Engraved frontispiece (stained and offset onto title) Taylor and Hessey,  1823 Fifth Edition    Contemporary full straight-grained black morocco, sides panelled in gilt and blind with inner cornerpieces, spine in compartments with raised bands, lettered and dated in gilt and with gilt rules and flowers, all edges gilt, turn-ins with gilt fillet, marbled end-papers Binding a little rubbed at extremities, circular dent to upper cover, but a nice copy; bookseller’s label on rear free end-paper. Fore-edge painting by Joseph Clayton “Kyd” Clark of Richmond Bridge as though from the middle of the river with boats, trees and buildings in the foreground and background
