Letters from T E Shaw to Viscount Carlow

Lawrence (T.E.).    Corvinus Press,  1956 First Edition Of an edition of 17 numbered copies (“none for sale), this is one of 11 on Milbourn handmade  Large 8vo Full limp vellum, upper cover lettered in gilt, uncut, silk ties, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe Fine copy. Presentation Copy, inscribed on the fly-leaf “To Bertram Rota, T.E. was responsible for our meeting, from Carlow”. Loosely inserted are a photograph of Viscount Carlow (proprietor of the Corvinus Press) in RAF uniform (he was killed in action in 1944), two Autograph Letters signed by his widow thanking Bertram Rota for his condolences and sending the photograph, a news cutting about Viscount Carlow’s death and a copy of the Order of Service for his Memorial Service.
