Presentation Copy, inscribed by the artist to Gordon and Emily Bottomley and dated Christmas 1931, and with the Emily and Gordon Bottomley Bequest bookplate A very nice Association Copy: Bottomley was Nash’s mentor and close friend and Nash designed stage sets for the former’s plays.
