Trusler (John)  Engraved frontispiece For the Author,  1773 Sixth Edition “with considerable additions and improvements”   24mo Contemporary Scottish full red morocco, sides and spine elaborately gilt with a variety of tools including flowers, leafy sprays, stars, crescents and dots, spine with two birds, gilt roll at edges, gilt turn-ins, marbled end-papers Joints partly cracked and a little wear and marking elsewhere, just a little foxing and soiling internally, some leaves cut close occasionally shaving text, but a nice copy; with the ownership inscription of Elizabeth Garvey dated 1779 on the fly-leaf. Ten pages advertisements at end for the publisher J. Bell. Fore-edge painting showing Bothwell Castle
