Forestier Ward, Lock & Co., Limited,   [c.1900] New Edition    Full brown morocco gilt, sides with French fillet enclosing flowers and leafy sprays, repeated on the spine, spine in compartments with raised bands gilt, lettered in gilt, all edges gilt, turn-ins with four interlocking gilt fillets and floral cornerpieces, those to the upper cover with the words “What I spent I had, What I saved I lost, What I gave I have, M.C. 1904” in gilt, for Bumpus Spine and upper cover a little sunned, upper joint cracked, slight wear at corners, free end-papers a little browned at edges form turn-ins, a little foxing, else a nice copy; inscription on fly-leaf
