Shiel (M.P.).    Gollancz, 1929 New Edition, revised [Advance Proof Copy]    Binder’s plain red cloth, lettered in gilt on spine Cloth a little faded and marked and leaves darkened throughout, otherwise a very good copy. With the author’s signed autograph presentation inscription on the title-page, the recipient’s initials partially erased causing a tear in the paper which has been neatly repaired on the verso  Apparently an Advance Proof Copy (on this poor proofing paper it bulks substantially less than the published version), later bound up without its wrappers for the now anonymous recipient
