Two autograph letters, signed, 16 October 1959 and no date

Smith (Jack, ARCA).         Small 8vo  To [Gilbert?] Mitchison, informing him that “the painting” has been sent and should reach him the following week. The subsequent letter thanks him for the news of the arrival of the painting and congratulates him on his “successful election”. Gilbert Mitchison (later Lord Mitchison), husband of Naomi Mitchison, was M.P. for Kettering 1945-64
