X 14; a novel

Lennox (Gilbert).    Thomas Nelson,  1931 First Edition     Somewhat foxed throughout, otherwise a very good copy in fragmentary remains of the pictorial dust-wrapper. Inscribed by the author on the fly-leaf: “To myself with the certainty that I am the only person who can truly appreciate this book! G. Lennox. 6-7-31”. Alas, Mr. Lennox seems to have been right about that, for he published no further novels.  A thriller with a hero apparently cast from the same mould as Bulldog Drummond.
