Phillpotts (Eden).    John Murray,  1938 First Edition     End-papers a little darkened, otherwise a very nice copy in slightly chipped pictorial dust-wrapper that is a little faded at spine panel. The DEDICATION COPY. The printed Dedication is “To L.A.G. Strong in respect of his art and affection for himself”, beneath which the author has added his autograph inscription: “from Eden Phillpots January 1938”  One of the author’s novels set in his beloved Devonshire countryside.
