Beckett (Samuel).  [Traduit de l’anglais par l’auteur]  Bordas (Collection Les Imaginaires No. 5), Paris,  1947 First French Edition Of 3,000 copies printed, this is one of only approximately 95 sold in the original Bordas wrappers   Wrappers Text slightly browned as usual and wrappers just a little browned and marked, backstrip slightly worn at foot and with very small piece missing at head, but a nice copy in the original glassine wrapper Federman & Fletcher 145 Translated by Beckett with the occasional informal assistance of his friend Alfred Péron, to whom the translation is dedicated. At the end of 1951 the unsold Bordas stock was taken over by Les Éditions de Minuit who issued the book in their own wrappers.
